Jade Hilton ft. Cole Brandt Feel Good Cover Art

When Jade Hilton, an up and coming artist in Toronto, reached out to me to create her cover art for one of her singles, I leaped at the opportunity. Her style of music has a unique sound and that’s what I focused on communicating through the cover art. Now available on Apple Music and Spotify, this single is being streamed and enjoyed by Jade and Cole’s thousands of fans.

Freshwind Conference Art

Freshwind is a conference for young people within the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions. Bringing in hundreds of people each year for over 25 years, it was a pleasure creating artwork for the conference. These two phrases were common slogans used throughout the marketing campaign. The 60’s/70’s style aligned with that year’s visual theme, with the use of textures, vibrant colours and groovy fonts.

I Will Follow

This piece was initiated by a design contest on Instagram. It is called ‘I Will Follow’ and I combined symbols to communicate the message of what it means to have faith in something you can’t necessarily see.

The lighthouse is known for what sailors look for when lost at sea. Birds flock together following the change in weather. I designed the sun’s rays like a maze because following something you can’t see sometimes feels as such.

Killing Kryptonite

This piece was inspired by a book called Killing Kryptonite by John Bevere. In the book, John makes a parallel between the things that hold us back to kryptonite. We usually find ourselves entangled in them and they stop us from reaching our true potential.

I designed the word ‘kryptonite’ to wrap around ‘killing’ to visually represent how our struggles tamper with how we see ourselves and how others see us.
